What you should know about Staking Mechanics

Staking is announced to begin on the 20th of September and the Defish team step by step prepares everything in order to deliver you the best experience and to raise up another exciting event for the best captains. Today we would like to give more information about Staking Mechanics, which include a detailed description of the pools, locks and fish.

Firstly, Let’s talk about pools:

• You can only stake starting from the minimum amount of $WOD, each pool has its own limit.
• Each pool lasts for a different time, the earlier you enter the pool, the more you earn.
• There will also be a maximum limit, which shows how much you can stake in a particular pool.
• Each pool has a Total supply, which is filled with players’ investments, as soon as it is full, it will no longer be possible to throw into the pool.
• The most enjoyable part is the fish. Each pool will have a limit per user. This means that you can put a limited number of fish in the pool and lock.
• Each pool has different damage to fish, which affects how long a particular fish can give you an APR bonus.

Secondly, let’s have a closer look at the Locks:

• You can create an unlimited number of locks, until the amount of investments in locks exceeds the pull limit.
• Each location will have a limit on fish, and the fish bonus will only apply to the lock in which it is located, and not all at once.
• As soon as the fish runs out of HP, it will be burned and in its place you can throw a new fish

And finally, what about Fish:

• Fish will have 2 new stats: HP and APR

Pay attention to the important detail:

• Limit on fish in the pool and lock. When you throw fish into a lock and after their life expires, they burn out, and you can again throw a new fish. It’s possible not an infinite number of times, but until you exhaust the pull limit of fish.
